Toyota sales numbers continue to be strong

RAV4 vehicles are leaving dealership lots quickly
By Mark Schadenberg
As a former newspaper reporter, it’s enjoyable to wander through various publications and press releases to read material varied from stats to company projections to future retail trends.
When a company releases its latest sales numbers via the media the manufacturer itself must scrutinize its accuracy because achieving a company record should translate into a good showing on the stock market and quarterly profit reports.
In Woodstock, we watch Toyota RAV4 sales numbers always as it translates into employment or at least strengthens the long-term employment situation in Oxford County and surrounding area.
Below is another report of high RAV4 sales in August of 2013, therefore, it's huge news locally.
Here’s their press statement:

RAV 4 Reviews
While I most certainly don’t know much about car components and construction, I have often watched the Motoring TV shows produced for TSN and find it interesting how the various cars are classified and compared based on both the size of the car and its expected performance.
Here’s two links to reviews (Car And Driver magazine report included) on the 2013 RAV4, which, of course, no longer has a spare tire on its back hatch like the model I drive. I am not a car expert, but I do like the idea that the back window can now open which would now makes carrying items much much much much easier.

There are many reasons to live in Woodstock;
Toyota is certainly one of them.
